How to Disable Automatic Update Check of IDM (Internet Download Manager)

Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a great tool for downloading files, but its frequent update prompts can be annoying. Every few days, IDM checks for updates in the background and shows a pop-up if a new version is available. Unfortunately, IDM doesn’t have a built-in option to turn off this update check. Steps to Disable IDM Update Checks

1. Open the Run Window
   Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard. This will open the "Run" box.

2. Open the Registry Editor
   In the Run box, type regedit.exe and press Enter. This opens the Registry Editor, where you can make changes to your computer’s settings.

3. Find the IDM Update Key
   In the Registry Editor, navigate to this location:
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DownloadManager\LastCheck

4. Change the Update Check Date
