Laverna - Open Source Evernote Alternative

Laverna is a free, open source note taking application which can be considered as Evernote alternative. It can also be used as to-do list or task management utility. It has a very clean and user friendly interface.

Laverna is written on JavaScript and it requires no installation and no registration as described in the official website. It supports encryption and it can encrypt all your notes on client side. It also supports cloud synchronization with third party services like Dropbox or other remote storage.

Laverna uses IndexedDB and localStorage to store your personal data. All the data are stored on client side. So no one can get access to your data other than you.
